Hybrid drive system

Principle of the hybrid drive system?

The combination of two engines or two technologies with the aim of reducing carbon emissions while maintaining the same level of performance.

What are the limitations?

There are none.

With you or for you, we develop concepts that combine two technologies in a single engine. The effects, benefits and improvement potentials are researched in innovative combinations. Our aim is to investigate the feasibility of concepts that no one has ventured to develop so far.

Our core competence lies in the internal combustion engine of the hybrid drive system: spark-ignition, diesel, gas, oil, alcohol, etc.

For the development of fuel cells or electric motors, we rely on the efficient cooperation of external partners.

Hybrid vehicles in motor sport

We began our research activities in hybrid drive systems as long ago as 2000. In 2003, the first BTD hybrid prototype was successfully developed and manufactured. Since then, we have had the opportunity to participate in many hybrid projects in the automotive industry (subject to confidentiality).

An improved version of our own prototypes has demonstrated the ecological and practical advantages of a hybrid vehicle in motor sport.
